Park Passes

Park passes are required by CONANP to anchor and to go ashore at the islands of Espíritu Santo & Partida north of La Paz.

Yearly passes (passports) and day passes (bracelets) are available for purchase. You may be stopped by a Park Ranger and asked to show your pass. If you do not have one you may purchase one at that time.

Everyone is required to pay unless you are a local citizen or permanent resident with a local voter’s ID card or drivers license. La Paz residents are required to have a park pass for the parks outside the Espíritu Santo National Park.

The 2024 cost is 150 pesos per bracelet per day and 1,811 pesos for the annual passport. The handicapped and children under 6 years old are not required to obtain a pass. The pass gives you access to all Mexican protected areas: Loreto Bay, Revillagigedo Island, etc.

To Purchase a Pass

• Daily Bracelets are apparently for sale at Baja Papers: Zona Comercial, Blvd Agustin Olachea y Cormoranes local 07 Plaza, in La Paz. According to the CONAP webpage listed below you are to purchase daily passes from the protected area you are visiting.
• The annual pass is obtained online at https://descubreanp.conanp.gob.mx/swb/conanp/pasaporte-brazalete-conservacion.
