Charity and Disaster Funds
Applications for Distributions
The Club Cruceros Charity Committee accepts applications for the season until February 1. The Committee meets in February to review the applications and select the charities for consideration. Those charities are invited to make a presentation either in person or via report/paper/video to the General Membership. In March, the Committee submits their recommendations to the Board for approval. Funds or goods are distributed in April. The Committee is also working on a volunteer needs list for organizations that just need man-hours.

In the past the Club has supported many charities and foundations in the La Paz community. Fund-raisers such as the Charity Beach Party are held through the year and announced on the morning net, posted on the club bulletin board, and on the website.

Club Cruceros Disaster Fund
The Disaster Fund helps to finance everything from medical disasters to hurricane recovery. The fund is not limited to Club Cruceros members, it assists all La Paz cruisers. Through donations to the disaster fund the Club is able to maintain an array of equipment and supplies from wheelchairs and crutches to generator, emergency pumps, and tow lines. This equipment is maintained by the club and available to the fleet.
