2006 Clubhouse Move

The Club Cruceros was started in 1988 by cruisers who gathered here in wonderful La Paz. This clubhouse remained where it was until October 21, 2006. At that time it was lifted from it's old pilings in the parking lot of Marina de La Paz and moved to this new position overlooking the end slips of Marina de La Paz. It was now in a beautiful shady spot with park benches out front and planned Bar-B-Q for those wonderful evening dinners. Now where did those "boat-boys" go? By the way, formal attire is NOT required at this yacht club!
After it came to rest in the new location, volunteers gathered and repainted the inside, resorted all of the books, and a new vinyl floor was installed. It had the ceremonial reopening during the mooring "Coffee Hour" on Saturday October 28, 2006.
During the heavy boating season here in La Paz (from about the end of October to about the end of June), cruisers gather at the club for the morning "Coffee Hour" from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. All are welcome!
